What makes our Middle Eastern guides different?

We combine this insider knowledge with Natalia’s cultural research to help you navigate bustling Moroccan souks, historic Turkish landmarks, and authentic Lebanese kitchens with complete confidence. The Art of Desert Hospitality

In the Middle East, offering food to a guest is a profound act of respect. Oliver’s years in Oman taught us that the best travel experiences happen around a shared table. We designed these guides to help you find those authentic moments, whether you are sipping mint tea in Marrakech or savoring Turkish delights in Istanbul. Back home, we translate these memories into family meals, like our zesty Roasted Lemon Sumac Chicken and our definitive guide comparing Chicken Shawarma vs Shish Tawook.

Cultural Roots & The Victor-Test

Natalia’s anthropological lens ensures our guides respect the deep history of the region. From the Moorish influences in North Africa to Levantine cooking techniques, we help you understand the why behind the food and the architecture.

Traveling the Middle East with a child is an incredible experience, and every guide is Victor-Tested. We highlight the most family-friendly wadis in Oman, the safest ways to navigate crowded bazaars, and which spiced dishes (like our Authentic Lebanese Chicken Shawarma) are guaranteed hits with kids.
